Little Rainbow is a vibrant new nursery, within the popular Corbett Estate within the Catford area London. We are conveniently located and have free, easy street parking outside the nursery for convenient drop off and pick up.- The nursery is open from 7:45am through to 6:15pm every day from Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and one week during the Christmas period.
- We offer uniquely flexible hours, including school hours and term time only care*.
- We have bright and airy playrooms specially designed for children of different ages.
- We also have an enclosed outside adventure playground which is used for traditional physical play such as climbing and cycling as well as water and digging in the sand-pit. It also has a safe and stimulating area for babies.
- We have a specially designed planting area where our children will be involved in growing fresh vegetables, experiencing planting seeds and watching the life cycles of flowers such as sunflowers.
- Secure Web Cams are installed in each room, to keep your child safe we operate a secure entrance policy, with each parent being issued a unique key fob and we also have CCTV security cameras covering the premises.
- Our philosophy is to work in partnership with parents and carers as much as possible, we believe that by working together we can help your child achieve to their best potential. We welcome parent’s involvement in nursery life—parents can drop in at any time for “stay and play” sessions and we organise fun events which can involve the whole family!
- All 3 and 4 years olds are entitled to up to 15 hours funded sessions. ***
- A “key carer”, chosen from our team of dedicated and experienced staff, will oversee your child’s unique learning and development.
- A qualified Early Years teacher oversees all curriculum planning. The Early Years Framework is embedded in our practices and we are Ofsted Registered.
- Meals are cooked by our in house chef using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with menus overseen by a paediatric dietician.
